Gaia E8 6c

Taking advantage of great weather (minus 4 Celcius) we decided to take a day off. Early morning we set off to Black Rocks for the famous classic – Gaia E8 6c. It took four ground up tries to crawl to the top. Gaia is a mega challenge, a bit scary, especially for the belayer!

Film coming soon.

Master’s Edge – another good day in Peak District

Yet another amazing achievement of Team ClimbGear! It was absolutely freezing cold, but obviously it did not stop Tomasz Zwolak (Vaison) from finishing his next target – Master’s Edge, the legendary route in Peak District.

And it goes without saying Vaison climbed in his ProRock trousers and T-Shirt! 🙂 Check out the photos…

Bouldertastic

Rope climbing was not our only target – it was time for some bouldering!

We wanted to see the famous place that as later appeared was guarded better than most of Columbian drug plantations. However, not by armed men but hairy monsters in the fields, omnipresent water and mud.

Our patience and perseverance were rewarded with great climbs, but most important meeting and making friends with Mark Almond – the shepherd of Polish climbing flock of Stanage Plantation!

The vibe was so great we have even stayed climbing till midnight. Best climbing days in the UK so far!

The harvest:

Pebble Arete – FANTABULOUS
Not to be taken away – DELICIOUS
Green travers – Flash
Help the Young Stand – KLASSISHEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Twister
Captain Hook – Flash
Deliverance – MIND BLOWING ASS CONTROLLING
Welcome to YMCA – Flash
Brass Monkeys – TIT SQUEEZING
Brad Pit – VIRTUOSITY

ClimbGear team at Peak District E-Factor final!

Peak District saw ClimbGear team being under the influence of mysticism and erotica, just as the British literature writers in XVII cent. were, and most recently British classic film makers from Sheffield (Hard Grit).

‘Fast spiele’ initiated some great climbs at the E-Factor final. The finalist Vaison (Tomasz Zwolak) completed ‘End of the Affair’ E8 6C (HP), ‘Moon Crack’ E5 6B (OS) and ‘Moon Walk’ E4 6a (OS).

However, most points for the highest and most adventurous fall from ‘End of Affair’ were granted to Kadej!
